⭕ Every Mac with a Mini Display Port allows you to connect an external display such as a TV, projector, standard analog monitor, or LCD that uses a VGA connector or cable. Plus, you can use an external display as your main workspace or to extend your desktop, or you can work in mirrored mode with a projector so you can view what your audience sees.
⭕ System Requirements:
Compatible with Mac computers with Mini DisplayPort and Thunderbolt ports
⭕ I Paid $30 for it retail
⭕ Included is everything you need to connect your Macbook Pro to a TV using VGA, you will need:
➡ A Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter (Picture 1)
➡ A VGA to VGA cable (both male)

➡ A 3.5 mm to 3 RCA AV Audio cable to connect sound from your laptop to your computer

⭕ Instructions for how to connect your computer/ laptop to a TV using these products (For instructions with pictures included showing how to connect it all just let me know and I'll send you a link to it as Ebay doesn't allow links in item descriptions.)
(1) Connect the Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter to the VGA to VGA cable.Hook the two cords together.
(2) Connect the Mini DisplayPort to the Macbook Pro.
(3) Plug the male VGA cable into the female VGA port in your TV. The female VGA port in your TV should have blue coding.
(4) Get your sound hooked up. Hook the 3.5mm plug into your Audio Out or headphone jack of your Macbook Pro, and then the Audio component of the cord into the TV.
(5) Turn on your TV and set the input to VGA. You should be able to watch videos from your computer on your TV, with sound included.
