喂喂,你們都升級成功,但沒有教我這個發表人呢.
真慘
The link I posted already tell how to install. U just need to do some more research yrself. Summary:
***Quote ****
1. Use RomUpdate.exe to dump your orginal ROM to a 128M or 256M SD card.
2. Use ntrw.exe to read the ROM file on the SD card and save it to your hard disk.
3. Use HexEditor to replace the first 416 bytes of the downloaded ROM by the same of your original ROM.
4. (BigStorage option) Change the bytes 80 00 to b8 01 at locations 7e4a and 1fc232e.
5. Use ntrw.exe to write the modified ROM file to SD card.
6. Insert the SD card and set the ppc to bootloader mode.
***Quote End***
Note:
For step 1. read here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BackupExistingRom
U can skip 4. if U don't need big storage (27mb rom Storage).
In 5., use ntrw.exe (search the forum/FTP above for it) to write the .bin file above to yr SD.

有個Dopod828V112OS.bin的檔案
.......
Just enter "ntrw" and it will tell U the usage:
"Usage: ntrw read/write file drive:"
Let's say if yr SD card is on K: drive(by card reader or using Softick card reader on yr Dopod 818/828)
To "SAVE" the backup rom from SD to yr local hard drive (step 2. above), do following: "ntrw read c:\MyBackupRom.bin k:"
To "Write" a rom image to the SD from yr hard drive (step 5. above), do following:
"ntrw write c:\Dopod828V112OS.bin k:"(assume U save the rom file on C:\) or "ntrw write c:\MyBackupRom.bin k:" (the backup rom above)
NOTE: I make correction to my instructions above since U CANNOT skip 1. 2. and 3. U need the first 416 bytes of yr original rom and REPLACE the first 416 bytes of Dopod828V112OS.bin (use any Hex Editor, xvi32 is a very good freeware)
4.ntrw write dopod828V112OS.bin I:
出現 xxxx.bin 參數錯誤。
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=23391&highlight=ntrw+parameter+incorrect
Just ignore the "incorrect parameter error" message from ntrw
And U may encounter checksum error after the rom update reach 100%. Just ignore it and soft-reset it, it will take ~3-5 mins in the first time to boot because it need to format the storage space.
