I went to SoftBank last month for buying 912sh or 920sh,
the seller told me that they can't sell to a foreigner,unless I have to stay there for at least 2 years.(for study or job).
Btw,Japanse mobile phone like softbank, AU and DoCoMo,must tie to the monthly rental, if you need more details, please PM me. ^^.
The seller was politeness and kindly, but I was disappointed when out of the store.
