The legendary Italian architect and industrial designer is renowned worldwide as a teacher and pioneer of twentieth-century design. Best known for his furniture, lighting, and exhibition work, he created finely styled, expressive, highly imaginative designs for items as diverse as vacuum cleaners and bathroom fixtures. In collaboration with his brother Pier Giacomo until 1968, he used experimental and traditional forms, and new technology to create objects in diverse materials.

這支燈因為他前衛的照型設計
又加上是使用當時最先進的技術
已經被紐約現代藝術博物館MoMA列為永久典藏了

大概是民國81-2年的時候買的吧
到現在還是一樣新潮的設計
Achille Castiglioni說過一句話:設計需要的是一種長久和持續性的態度，而不是一種風格
