Front license plate

Unlike US, I see cars in Taiwan all have front license plate. Anyone tried to get by without it? Is trouble with the police a sure thing if you dont have it?

In the States, you can get by without a front license plate. Here you will get hasseled by the cops for sure~ I really dont like to get myself into that situation especially in Taiwan. If you used to refer cops as pigs in the States, wait til you get pulled over by one or somehow have an encounter with one here. Personally, I have not had a pleasant one so far no matter how small or how big the problem really was. Aint a good thing.... However, with all these said, I would do it and try to get out of it if possible especially if I got a nice ride here. What do you have by the way~?
