Test? I don't really know how to "test" it. Just a few opinions/experiences to share:
1. battery: since I had the ambicom CF wireless card on all the time, the battery pack show me around 3 hours (with 20% backlight) when fully charged. But be caredul here since BH discussion rumors battery pack 2003 has bugs.
2. Chinese: I am using Monster Chinese and it is OK. But do not install Monster SIP and KB just yet. I installed them and they crashed my PDA.
3. Since I am not a power PPC user (actually, I am still using Palm TT now), I have no idea about inter-model comparison. But it is quite light and small. 64MB memory are quite small. I need to install most of my programs in SD card (sandisk 256MB).
Anything else? I will post if I found something interesting.
p.s. since I am in US, the price I paid is useless information for those back in Taiwan....

May I ask why you chose the 2215 over the 5550? Since you complain about the lack of RAM and use the unit for browsing often, the 5550 seems like a much better choice for you. If it's the size, you should have held out for the Mio 558. You'd still have both your memory slots while using WiFi then, not mention an improved processor, more ROM, and the missing buttons and dials. No record button? What were they thinking? :( Maybe the rumored 4000 series will be another answer. :)
PS - Install everything on the SD card unless you absolutely must install in the RAM and do yourself a favor and ditch the SanDisk card for a Lexar or Panasonic card. :)

Why 2215? 3 keys: 1. price --- I got it REAL cheap (it's not a secret in BH: $267); 2. two expansion slots; and 3. replacable bettery + light-weighted + OK size. As to Mio 558, forget it when you are in US because of customer support. But you are right about one thing: I do hate the lack of recording button, and that's part of the reason I still hang on TT...
You are correct on Lexar vs. Sandisk. But since I only have one Lexar SD and which is on TT...
