I just bought a GPSMAP 60Csx. I've found that it can't display traditional chinese. Is there anyway to do it? Mine is a US machine. Thanks

1. Noted English frimware V3.0 file name: 029201000300.rgn
Chinese firmware V2.10 file name: 062601000210.rgn
2. Change Chinese firmware file name from 062601000210.rgn -> to 029201000310.rgn
3. Copy it to the same directory where the 029201000300.rgn is located.
Make sure the dirctory has the following three files:
60CSxTUpdate.txt,
029201000310.rgn,
Updater.exe
4. Run the Updater.exe
This will erase your English firmware and replace with Chinese version.
As for Chinese V2.20, you can just run the Chinese updater because your 60CSX
has been transfromed into a hybrid verison.
(still no Taiwan citi map capability as the machine S/N is still a US code)

It was displayed the same problem.
I found a solution.
when the first "GPSmap 60CSx Taiwan page" comes out.
press the switch again then will show up the adjust back light screen.
then press "menu" twice will get the menu screen comes out.
then press "Page" again untill the screen you wanted to do.
It means after changing to chinese you will get the first menu by "manual" to run the 60CSx.
not automatic again.
The function is same as before.
you will see all chinese in the map.
The important you need get a Taiwan Map.
if you put English map inside, the map will show up in English.
but the menu is Chinese.
you can swtich English or Chinese menu anytime.
