Dear sir :
I am a canon camera user from Taiwan . My camera is model 40D of canon . last week , my canera breakdown that no any man-made factor.
And the breakdown Code Err99 on my canera LCD Screen , So I google about Err99 code meaning and the result is 351,000 match Err99 40D . everybody talk about err99 on 40D . the Err 99 means shutter failure , but Canon's advertisement purport 40D's shutter life about 100k times and I just use only 9k .
Why so many people talking about the ERR99 but Canon still no change anything just sell it to people ? is the Japan enterprise no any conscience ?
My camera is out of the Warranty and CANON customer service man tell I need to pay for repair . OK~ I pay but please tell me why so many low yield ?
They no answer me . I think this is critical swindle , because Canon's market share 44 % in the world . So please CNN reporter unmask Canon . Try to tell the Taiwan local media but they need Canon commercial budget . So I tell this story to CNN maybe we can get the help and fight this campany .

簡單的講解...快門鈕這部份~假設入門機快門壽命...若是3萬次壽命 <-----假設值
使用者...若"不斷連續半按快門對焦"使用...將會快速減少快門鈕的第一段(1st)彈簧壽命
如此~那怕你只拍3萬張照片...但快門鈕的第一段(1st)彈簧壽命...可能早已突破5萬次按壓次數
如下圖...就是一個快門鈕元件的規格 (3萬次壽命)
所以在....350d.20d.30d.40d.5d....
