As a photography and optics enthusiast, I have been long appreciating the colour rendition, transition and other performance of the Foveon sensor. I have two wishes suggested for Sigma:
1. Developing a FF version of Foveon sensor. Personally, I only use 135 FF and medium format cameras. I have been waiting for Sigma to release a camera with Foveon sensor that could at least cover the 135 FF format for some years. My other photography friends also have the same wish. And I think the market for a FF Foveon sensor will be huge.
2. Developing a ultra-fast standard prime lens, e.g. 50mm F1.0. This market is empty for years. Apart from Leica's 50mm F0.95 which is available in RF only, also the Mitakon 50mm F0.95 in E-mount, I am not aware any other competition in the DSLR market. From what I know, the last F1.0 was Canon's 50mm F1.0 which ceased production over 20 years ago.
Lastly, wish you and Sigma every success in 2016.
