[炒冷飯] SONY PCG-C1MT

First I have to say sorry that this report is type in English becuase I'm busy in this few days as I'm doing my work in Australia. I brought this PC last week and it was a second hand notebook sent from HK. Although it is a old model but it's still my dream notebook in this second.
The front looks very cool~

Here is the specifications of C1MT
You would find that original ram of C1MT is 128MB but the seller already upgrade to 384MB. It's enough to do basic work.

CPU is Crusoe TM5800 733MHz
Window XP Home English ver.

See?? This is an offical product in HK and with warranty!! But it was few years ago.... not now.

Sony original battery with the capacity of 1800mAh. But it just enough for C1MT to work up to 1.5hrs in my test.


Now switch on the C1MT. It will display the Sony logo. Looks Cool~

Now is the time to see my new assessories for my C1MT
First is the new wireless mouse made by Microsoft



Here is the place to put battery inside the mouse. It's hard to discover. I also have to read the user manual to find it out. User Manual states that the battery is enough for the mouse stands up to 3 months.

Here is the bottom view of the mouse. You would find that there is a place to hide the receiver.

See? The receiver can totally hide in the mouse!! And at that time mouse will turn off to save power.


Woo! Here is the other accessory for my C1MT. I think most user of C1 would face a problem. That is, the build-in usb port is only 1.1ver. It's not fast enough to connect to other devices such as external hard disk and DVD burner. But this thing can solve the problem. It's a PCMCIA USB 2.0 Netbook Card!! In my test, it can work without the AC power adaptor. This card will get power directly from the pc.
