VOLVO的六速自排也是愛信精機出品
不過同樣是六速自排
也有對應不同最大扭力的型號
至於詳細我也只有大略看過
還請高手開釋!
總共有三個型號
對應中等扭力的TF-60SN
大扭力的TF-80SC
還有一個是對應大扭力性能車的BG6

因為評價好 加上成本考量

DW10才會與ford一起發展...........

直到2005 的TDCi才開始用PSA的DW引擎
字面上是說co-developed with Ford
但DW系就是PSA長期發展的柴油引擎系列
否則名子就叫DLD-XX 或是 ZSD-XX了

PSA EW/DW engine

The PSA EW/DW engine is a family of straight-4 petrol and diesel engines manufactured by the PSA Group for use in their Peugeot and Citroën automobiles. The EW/DW family was introduced in 1998 as a replacement for the XU engine.

The EW/DW uses many parts from the XU, most notably the crankshaft, but is built with lighter materials. The EW name is used for the petrol engines ("e" for essence) and DW for Diesel engines.

All EWs are DOHC multivalve with displacement from 1749 to 2231 cc. They are mainly used for large family cars and executive cars, as well as large MPVs, although the 2.0 L is also used for some hot hatch models.

The DW started with an SOHC 2-valve design between 1868 and 1997 cc, later receiving DOHC and four valves per cylinder upon the introduction of the 2.2 L in 2000 with the Citroën C5 and Peugeot 607. Turbocharged versions started using common rail and received the commercial designation HDi. The DW10 served as the basis for the Ford/PSA engine partnership using second generation common rail and a variable geometry turbocharger for the first time on the 2.0 L design.

DW10

The 2.0 L DW10 was the first PSA Diesel engine to feature common rail direct injection, and was given the commercial designation HDi. It has a bore of 85 mm (3.3 in) and a stroke of 88 mm (3.5 in) for a total displacement of 1997 cc, replacing the XUD9 in 1999. It was initially available in 90 PS (66 kW) form, with two valves per cylinder and a non-intercooled turbo. An intercooler was added later in the year, boosting power to 107 PS (79 kW).

Initially available in the midsized models, such as the Citroën Xsara and Xantia and Peugeot 306 and 406, it was soon spread across the PSA range, such as the LCVs, while a 16-valve version, with 109 PS (80 kW), was used in the large MPVs built in association with Fiat. Suzuki was a customer of these powerplants, using them in the European Vitara and Grand Vitara.

The DW10 was used as the basis for the new family of Diesel engines co-developed with Ford, and it is used in the Focus, C-Max and Mazda5, besides various Citroën and Peugeot passenger models. The DOHC 16-valve powerplants were mated to a second generation common rail injection system and a variable geometry turbocharger, pushing power to 136 PS (134 hp/100 kW). It is fitted with a six-speed manual transmission or six-speed automatic transmission (from summer 2006 onwards).

The Ford Duratorq engine, commonly referred to as Duratorq, is the marketing name of a range of Ford diesel engines first introduced in 2000 for the Ford Mondeo range of cars.

The first design, codenamed "Puma" during its development replaced the older Endura-D unit which had been around since 1984. Commercial versions of the Puma unit replaced Ford's older "York" type unit used in the Transit, and many other manufacturers' vehicles - most notably the London Taxi.

Other, unrelated units in this range have been developed in conjunction with Peugeot[1]. These engines are therefore available in Ford, Peugeot, Citroën, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Mazda vehicles. They are given different names by PSA Peugeot Citroën (PSA).

看樣子,還是有人天真的相信
媒體上寫的那套比較好聽的說法----"共同研發"
但其實福特可是支付了大筆權利金給PSA的

PSA的HDi系列柴油引擎很早起就跟VAG的TDI是各據一方
像現在LeMans 24場上激烈的競爭 (908HDi FAP VS. R10 TDI)
就都只是為了向世人宣示:自己才是柴油引擎科技的領先者

這次開發DW引擎,PSA只是為了節省開發經費
把福特拉進來當PARTNER
而福特也可以利用這個機會分享PSA的HDi技術
將之搭載在旗下,如此而已

看名稱便知道了,為什麼叫"DW10"
是因為PSA當初是用集團內的代號EW10的1997cc
85x88的汽油引擎為基礎來開發的

而PSA社內的柴油引擎代號都會在其基礎引擎的代號裡冠上"D"
如XU系列引擎的柴油引擎都叫"XUD"

因此
DW10 = EW10 base + 共軌直噴柴油引擎化

相同的
DW12 = EW12 base + 共軌直噴柴油引擎化

若說PSA的柴油引擎還要別人來"協助"研發
就會像是說保時捷的底盤竟還要請PRODRIVE來協助調教一樣......
