有篇國外報導提到，Specialized 似乎在加拿大註冊了 Roubaix 這個商標，所以才開始掃簜加拿大相關的店家。但是對照 ASI 後來的聲明(Roubaix 商標的所有權是 ASI 的)，現在也沒人知道這個註冊到底合不合法。
Cafe Roubaix 是在幾個月前陸續收到 Specialized 的律師信，不但要求他改名，連 caferoubaix.ca 的網址都要被強迫轉移給 Specialized。
國外的資深鄉民表示，Specialized 這種愛告人的行為已經不是第一次了
