I am with this answer too 我也同意這個答案

the relationship with your pedal and your throtte is not linear

the throtte will make a provision or you can say reservation of your first half of pedal-down

then add them back in the second half while you kick with more stroke on your foot

There was a comprehesive graph from Tom's in-car computer modif kit:

1. of the oringinal non-linear pedal-throtte curv ( in S shape ) 像是S型的線 是原廠的

2. and the direct 45 degree line is correspondingly a perfect 1-to-1 relationship normally we thought to have when driving

3. a factory modif to a negative convexity curv, a less you input your leg, but get more air flew in your throtte...

To be honest i really dont understand why the original setting is like that - a turbo lag style

but when I tried 335i, the acceleration is smoother than 328i,
when i give some gas, it moves slow
when i give more gas, it becomes fast...

335i is much more predictable than 328i in terms of acceleration...

So guess the 328i is more curvy in it's S shape setting

the ratio of gas/throtte is low when low rpm

and ratio is changed to >1 when rpm increases

maybe it is for long life engine resilience... somebody with the knowledge can answer this ?

merci bcp
drive by wire +1

it's "normal" behavior for 328i, you will get used to it once you drive the car more, also the computer of your car will "learn" the way you press the pedal, the situtation will get better in a few months of time.

Another way is to drive in "ds" mode. waste a bit of gas but much more fun!

That means you ought to buy a new 3.35i to substitute for 3.28i, lol.
