Sedan wrx and Sti have much wider fender than wagons... (thats something
I didnt know untill I own it ..), no problem with wide tires....
Wagon owners usually can run up to 235 to 245 depends on alignment specs
and type of springs...For this part, I should have chosen sedan or Sti..
I totally agree with Jaku..... You should run run wider tire in front and smaller
tire in the rear. I suggest 245 F and 225 R, then you will grip like MAD, so
you can even pull the fuse for your traction control system, because
you dont even need it......muhahahhaa
Your car need super front end grip to dial out under steering..
give it a beefy sway bar up front and run mad front camber
(which give you nice oversteering feel under power and understeering
feeling at the limit, and your car will ber very tossable in hard cornering.)
But, nothing should be done before you keep your stock, showy, heavy,
,useless tire/wheel in your garage... muhahahha

Sammy 大也建議MP3輪胎用前寬後窄 到時可以試試看各種組合 跟 不同的胎壓 我現在的 GTI IV 原廠給了四顆 225 所以只好把後輪打到 36 psi 感覺像 205

我想以 MP3 的扭力 前輪用 245 都 OK S2000 才 MP3 2/3 的扭力 都用 245 推了 只是 mark404040 可能要買一顆寬達 8.5J 或是 9J 的輪框 來對應這樣的寬胎 然後又得注意 offset 的問題 既不能減少輪距 在原廠懸吊有限的可調範圍內 又不能磨到 葉子板內龜 後輪大概跟原廠框一樣寬 一樣 offset 就好 呵呵

我只有一點跟 Sammy 大 比較不同的觀念是 我會保留原廠前 sway bar 而只單改 後 sway bar 意義跟減少轉向不足差不多 目前遇過的定位技師 車手都是這樣建議 不知道 Sammy 大 覺得只改前面 有什麼特別原因嗎 我以為autoX更會這樣改說~

另外 Sammy 大的 alignment 也跟我所知道的小小的不同 我會前輪 toe out 後輪也 toe out 在我朋友 EVO 上 是這樣的設定 減少了不少出彎時的 understeer 而且前輪轉向也更精確 我想 WRX 或 STI 的 steering feel is much dull-er than EVO, 我在想 toe out 理應幫助不少 因為我另一位開 GC8 WRX 的朋友 做完此定位 回到我們常跑的山路 實在變的好開很多 我們這一群都是同一位 定位師父 一起做的 而且每次我都被拉去陪著一起做

連我的S2000前輪都作了toe out 實在蠻喜歡這種感覺 因為狗卡開習慣了 方向盤角度都打很小

In my opinion, FWD car "can not" lose the front end traction, because the front
wheel is the only wheel power is delivered to and the only wheels to control. Losing the front end traction on FWD car = F'up , and it is worse than AWD or
RWD. The bigger the front swaybar, the better camber curve it holds through
corner, meaning that we have less chance to lose the traction in front end, less
body roll.
We all know adding bigger will induce understeering, but, he still has option to thorw an adjustable rear sway afterward, use higher spring rate spring on the rear, run higher tire pressure on rear, use narrower tire on rear or toe out on rear to loose the rear end.
I have had a fair amount of good seat time with him (Mark) on MS3. He gave up he front end traction just about every single time if he tried to push.....without the traction control system, his MS3 should have been MS1 countless times. at this point, if he does not try to maintain reasonable font end traction but adding a big ass sway on the rear, he will lose both front and rear traction and make his MS3 to MS0 . Keeping a bigger front bar, though, induces little understeer, but give us bigger margin of error through a turn and make the car so much more tossable, good for him now at least.
I would suggeset to maintain a good front "camber curve" then loose the rear end accordingly to his liking. Lossing front end traction is the last thing you want at least in auto-X.

I try to keep front toe to 0 is to reduce the uneven tire wear, It was little excessive.... you know RT615 dont last too long. Front end toe out in my experience was nice turn in feeling, but dont give good traction stability in cornering.
For front end toe in, it gives slower turn in response, but better traction and gives a smaller turning radius in corner. So I adjusted to ~ 0 toe in front and it feels good.
Rear end toe gives much more significant difference compare to the front toe changes. Cornering exit stability IMO is more contributed to the rear toe out.
Front end toe gives more feel at the initial turn in feeling and dont do much after you turn your car into a corner (if not worse).

Why it is so cheap? CX-7最基本的都要$25000 起跳耶!!!

I got everything (include NAVI, 4WD, TAX), $33000.

這部車我是沒什麼挑剔的,可是當然還是一些想挑剔的啦

不過.....如果預算有多一點的話, Try RDX.

Sadly, you still have to pay NY's tax if you are going to get NY's registration and plate.
