原文:Plan for SF Giants games in Taiwan in limbo
When Giants players left San Francisco for the winter, they left one order of business unfinished. They did not vote to approve a two-game, season-opening series for 2011 in Taiwan. That idea might be in jeopardy.

According to sources, Giants officials and players tabled discussions about the trip during the postseason. The Players Association must approve it and could poll Giants players via telephone or mail.
Also, the players' payment would be less than others have gotten for going to the Far East. When the subject was broached in July, Aubrey Huff said he believed it would be $10,000 apiece, not much of an inducement, especially now that each Giant will get at least $350,000 for winning the World Series.
Taiwan trip or not, the Giants will open the U.S. portion of their schedule at Los Angeles on April 1, with their home opener against St. Louis on April 8. Games in Taiwan would be taken out of Arizona's home schedule.
