加州我自己去過兩次，但是去工作倒是沒注意過機車怎麼停車，
不過同學跟親戚就住加州，問一下狀況很簡單，汽車格可以停，但是機車格也可以停。
當然如果有法規可以看的話當然最好，
沒有的話就上網找囉～
例如
前幾樓有人貼這張照片，但是就偏偏不連說明一起貼上來：

這照片是一間學校裏面發生的事，已經有機車專用停車場卻還是有機車停在汽車格裡的校園新聞。

Questions about parking a motorcycle legally in LA.
What are some areas we can park that cars can't? I take it sidewalks are always a no. I haven't seen much dedicated motorcycle parking anywhere. I'm guessing there are some unwritten rules....
有人回答：
Don't park on sidewalks, or in the striped areas next to disabled parking spots. In general I only park in car spots unless there's motorcycle specific parking (keep an eye out, it's more common than you might think) or I've been told it's ok, because you might just run into someone having a bad day who tries to ticket or tow you. As far as meters, I believe the official law is one vehicle per space, but if there are two in a spot, the meter maid doesn't really know which one to ticket (that said, they can just ticket both, which happens).
他也是說除非沒有機車停車格，否則不能停汽車格。
大致來看就是如此，大家可以討論討論台灣現行法規是否符合現實狀況需求？尤其是重機規定停汽車格這件事。
