I also can consider a used Z Nismo...

When brand new Z Nismos are not selling well... Then, Nissan dealers have to lower down the price. Once the new Z Nismos' prices get down, those used Z Nismos' prices will also become cheaper!!! (That's exactly what happen on GSFs and NSXs in 2017!!!)

How much lower could a new Z Nismo's selling price be??? I don't know. It depends on how fast Nissan dealers can sell out all their new Z Nismos. Once Nissan dealers sell out all their new Z Nismos, then the prices of used Z Nismos could become stable... (So, I don't have to buy one now. So far, I just need to WAIT AND SEE!!!)

PS: Z Nismo is a very good candidate in my purchase list but it's NOT my only choice. I still have A LOT OF other choices, as I believe there will be a lot of new Japanese sports car in 2025 and 2026 which would be a wonderful moment for buying a Japanese sports car!!! (Of course, my current GSF is still so much fun and extremely reliable, so...)

In Nov 2017...

2012 ISF about 30K miles, asked for 43K USD.
2017 GSF about 500-1K miles, asked for 65K USD. (MSRP: 86K USD)

In Jan 2025...
2020 370Z Nismo about 30K miles, asks for 35K USD.
2024 Z Nismo about 500-1K miles, asks for 56K USD. (MSRP: 66K USD)

I think a used 2024 Z Nismo, about 500-1K miles, should be around 50K USD??? I don't know. The price could be higher or lower in the future but lower should be more likely...

PS: I think most people still don't want to pay HIGH DOLLARS to buy a Japanese sports car due to the existing marketing trend... A BIG MISTAKE!!! (But, it's actually a very good news for some people like me!!!)
Now, Nissan is like a waving arm kitty for me... (Yes, I really like the car but I also try very hard to figure out how to make it more PRACTICAL in daily driving!!!)

That's what I'm think... (Removing everything in the trunk!!!)

10 years ago, those impractical two seaters should still not be a bad choice for me, as I still need to commute to work weekdays. However, now, both my wife and I work from home most of the time and we also plan to retire soon!!! So, I really don't know what situation I can drive a two seater???

Actually my son can drive one to his school. However, my son is a SLOW CAR FAST person. All he really wants is a very good MPG car. So, a Z Nismo is definitely NOT in his list!!!

My wife told me to get a Uber-Eat job after retiring... (It sounds not a bad idea!!!)
The below is the comments near the end of the the below video...

The Z felt more comfortable but when you really push this Z a little more, you could feel the dynamic of this Z was better than Supra thanks to the newer(stiffer) platform!!! All this Z need is a STIFFER suspension...

This sounds like in 2017, 2007 G35S with PSS10 suspension vs 2017 GSF with OEM suspension...

PS: Of course, Z Nismo will definitely be more hardcore than regular Z... (Actually Z Nismo is still more comfortable than my current GSF with Ohlins GT3 like suspension but Z Nismo is already as sporty as the latest M2 G87!!!)

NSX : Heavy, Slower on tacks, Easy to drive fast
MC20 : Light, Faster on tracks, Need good driving skills

Just like what I said before... Of course, Japanese performance cars are more suitable for average drivers including me which contain 99% of the drivers on the roads!!!

In addition, Japanese performance cars are better for daily driving which is... The confidence of the driving is much more important than the lap time!!!

I think I finally realize why many people loved Honda VTEC engines in the past...

Those Japanese free-rev engines are meant to be pushed, pushed, pushed... They are a bit tight in the beginning... So, you have to keep pushing them whenever you can to make them LOOSE, especially for the higher rpm ranges!!! The more you push them, the more loose those engines become. Then, the more loose those engines become, the faster your cars go!!!

The drawback is you have to burn more gas(costs1-2mpg on average for me, 18MPG vs 20MPG) and tires... i.e. spend more money in gas and tires!!! (I think that's why people prefer OLDER Japanese performance cars!!!)

PS: Now my GSF is over 55K miles. The engine is bit looser but still very tight, I think...(still barely consume any oil!!!)

Many people know you need to train your dog or cat but very few people including me know actually you also need to train your car(engine)!!! (Believe it or not... After some training I feel my GSF gets faster and faster!!! )

PS : I didn't train my previous car 2007 G35S much for the higher rpm ranges in the past... A BIG MISTAKE!!! Actually VQ35HR is a high rpm engine the redline of which is lofty 7600 and even higher than my current GSF's V8!!! (However, GSF's V8 sounds a bit better and that's one of the reasons why I didn't train G35S a lot!!!)

Actually G35S sounds pretty good outside(I'm a bit surprised as I never did anything like that before) but it definitely did not sound that good inside... (I think it could be too quiet inside. So, all I heard was mechanic noise from the engine!!! I think G35S needs an aftermarket exhaust!!!)

PS: I think, if GSF exhaust is very quiet and I think what I hear is still mechanic noise from the engine. I think engineers just try to create some sounds to override those unpleasant mechanic noise. So, those good sounds are just FAKE, I think!!! (Some cars at least could make some really good FAKE sounds!!!)
