以prius 2而言, 當OEM HV battery 出現異常或故障, 儀表會出現紅色三角警告訊號,
此時 HV battery system shut down, 車子純以引擎做動力, 油耗與一般車相同
車子不會行進中拋錨或無法啟動
這在國外PHEV user 網站有不少例子
