I rented recent MX-5(ND) and 2021 IS300 and tried both on mountain roads. I think IS300 was not bad at all.
If you're car is a M car, then I agree you will think IS300 is boring. If you think IS300 is boring, then I think C300 or 330i is also boring...
PS: Please don't overrate those performance cars including my GSF. On public roads, not on the tracks, they generally just have powerful engines and big tires and only slightly better handling... However, on the tracks those performance cars will survive much longer thanks to additional heat resistances!!
