I think the ride frequencies for Porsche in my data sheet could be a little too low...

So, I decide to give them some boosts.

The below is the result.

I think Cayman S/GTS/PASM should be about as stiff as GSF/M4 or 2015(or later) GT-R base.

Carrera S(991) should be about as stiff as 2009-2014 GT-R base or 2015(or later) GT-R track edition.

911 GT3(991) should be about as stiff as GT-R Nismo or my current Ohlins GSF.

The ride frequency of a stock 911 GT3 RS(991) could be as high as 3.0!!!

PS: The reason why I decided to increase ride frequencies for Porsche was based on the below video.

The below is some ride frequency examples for different types of cars... (I just found this in a forum from Internet!!!)

Standard Road Car: < 1,3 Hz
Sporty Road Car ("ST- Versions"): 1,3 Hz - 1,5 Hz
Very Sporty Road Car ("RS-Versions"): 1,5 Hz - 1,8 Hz
Super Sports Car (Ferrari, Lambo etc): 1,7 Hz - 2.0 Hz
Rally Car in Tarmac Setup 2,2 Hz - 2,6 Hz
STW Touring Car / Tarmac Hill Climbers 3,0 Hz - 4.0 Hz
Formula Cars with high downforce ( F1, Indycar) 4,0Hz - 6,0 Hz

So, my current GSF is officially classified as a rally car!!!

I have been playing sim-racing games(Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione) for almost 500 hours and 80K kms now and still think those sim-racing games are more fun than my GSF... (I would stay at home and play those games rather than driving my GSF on mountain roads)

Like I said... Of course, only my GSF could let me go from point a to point b and have fun on the way!!!

PS: Driving on the limits is fun but it's really unwise to drive my GSF like that on public roads or even on race tracks!!!

Of course, there are definitely some differences between Assetto Corsa Competizione and real life racing but ACC is really good enough to let you understand what a actual GT3 racing would be like!!!

(Please be noted that the racing on wet in ACC still need some improvements and not good enough yet...)

Assetto Corsa is still among the best sim-racing games, but after having played Assetto Corsa Competizione for a while, I think AC is more like a video game for me!!!

(I also think ACC is more difficult than AC...)

I used to drive my son's 2007 G35S with the cruise control set at 120km/h on a slightly curvy highway. At that time G35S was equipped with KW V3. I also found very few cars could do that!!!

However, today my GSF with Ohlins suspension did the same at 130km/h and felt NOTHING!!! In G35S, I still felt a hint of the fear if I did that. But, in my current GSF I felt I could do the same at least 20km/h faster!!! (I really think GSF's body rigidity is a bit stiffer than that old G35S)

I also found my current Ohlins suspension became more comfortable after almost 3 year usages...

In the past I tried to tune my Ohlins suspension to be a little stiffer to lower down the ride frequency or reduce those little fast bouncing. As a result, the ride comfort suffered!!!

Actually I think it's not really necessary. All I have to do is just to admit Ohlins suspension has much higher ride frequency and ACCEPT IT!!! Actually those high frequency bouncing are just faster but still very little (Ohlins dampers do a very good job to keep those bounces to be minimal) As a result, the current GSF feels stable and comfortable AT THE SAME TIME!!!

(So, in other words... DO NOT EXPECT Ohlins suspension to be as refined as OEM suspension. GSF's OEM suspension is still the best OVERALL!!! But, I like Ohlins suspension better!!!)

Actually, I'm a bit surprised that the ride frequency of ISF is a little higher than GSF's...

I had tested drive many 2011+ ISF and they're all very comfortable. (GSF at normal mode is as comfortable as ISF but GSF at sport mode is a little firmer than ISF)

Actually 08-10 ISF is not very comfortable but 2011+ ISF is very comfortable.

The below is ISF suspension changes from Lexus. As you see, Lexus lowered down the high speed damping for 2011+ ISF... (high speed damping = ride comfort)

You may be curious what those little bouncing is...

Last week my wife and I rode in our lovely GSF on highway as usual. My wife was using her iphone and searching a restaurant nearby... However, she complained my GSF was too bouncy and she couldn't read those small words in her iphone. (Actually, we both are too old to read small words in iphones but those little bouncing in my GSF made the situation totally uncontrollable!!!)

So, those little bouncing is not obvious and uncomfortable but DOES still exist... (My wife also said she never knew my current GSF was so bouncy!!!)

Actually you can also check the below video...

The front dashboard in that RCF GT3 is very unsettled even though the road is completely smooth!!!

(Of course, that RCF GT3 racing car has a very stiff suspension. My GSF will not bounce like that!!!)
