This is the most sporty car from Lexus except F cars...

Again, it should be about as stiff as Q50S but please look how smooth its ride is!!!

You may wonder LC500 is the most rigid chassis Lexus has ever built... Why is its ride frequency so low and only about as high as F Sport.

Actually you need to compare LC500 with IS/GS non F Sport models. LC500's ride frequency is higher than those of IS/GS non F Sport models. (You cannot compare apples with oranges)

So, I expect LCF's ride frequency should be higher than RCF/GSF if LCF exists...

I think I was wrong... NSX's ride frequency should be a bit higher than RCF Track or Fuji edition.

NSX bounces even at normal mode but RCF doesn't bounce at normal mode. I guess NSX's ride frequency should be as high as 911 GT3 or GT-R Nismo. (That's why NSX is so expensive... Remember, ride frequency = MSRP!!!)

PS: If NSX is as practical as GT-R, I think I will buy one...

I just played the sim-racing game again after dinner... Guess what, I kept crashing tonight... (The situation also got worse and worse!!!)

Then, I suddenly realized I drank some wine during the dinner. So, I GAVE UP and stop playing!!! (Did I drink and drive???)

PS: I only drank about 100cc red wine. I have to say playing these hardcore sim-racing games really needs to be 100% focused!!!

Now the Ohlins setting in my GSF is 8F/13R. The tire pressures is 32F/30R on 275/35R19(front) and 285/35R19(rear) tires. (I think I really more enjoy my GSF's ride now than ever!!!)

The Ohlins suspension is actually easily installed and tuned. However, there is one thing you need to remember... Just DON'T GO TOO STIFF!!! (Those stiff settings are only for TRACKS!!!)

PS: I also spent about $500USD in buying a high-end radar detector... There are still some unexpected drivers who try to race my GSF??? An old Corolla several days ago and an old Odyssey today...

(Not sure why they did it??? Did I drive my GSF too fast??? They are definitely a bit slower but they kept trying to overtake me at an illegal speed!!! So...)

This is GT500, the ride frequency of which should be similar to IS500's... (Do you think they both provide similar rides???)

IS500

It seems they both ride very differently...

I checked the OEM damper/spring part numbers for RCF base/Fuji/Track and found there were NO differences!!!

Therefore, there should be no differences in ride frequencies on them. I think the only differences could be "software" tuning on dampers...

(Actually the dampers of GSF and RCF are exactly THE SAME. So, I think Lexus should be able to do some "software" tuning on their dampers, no matter F sport or F cars...)

PS: Believe it or not... The prices of dampers for RCF/GSF are actually very cheap which are only 50% of my daughter's M35X's and 5% of GT-R's!!!

Now I think I realize why my current GSF with much stiffer Ohlins suspension sometimes has a little more body rolls than GSF's OEM suspension... (Ohlins dampers could be softer at the FIRST corner. However, once it LEARNED, it would become stiffer...)

I think those OEM dampers are very smart and proactive which can constantly adjust themselves on the road!!!

PS: Nowadays, thanks to higher body rigidity, the ride frequencies of the performance cars get higher and higher... As a result, the damping technology becomes very important!!!)

This Ferrari is also constantly bouncing.... So, yes... It's a true super car!!! (No bouncing, no super car!!!)

PS: Please be noted it's totally normal that this Ferrari is bouncy as its ride frequency is quite high...

I also found some super cars could be more bouncy than the others....

I think the reason could be the seats. If the seats are more comfortable, the POV video could be more bouncy. (The seat may filter out those little bounces)

So, if the camera is attached to the rear mirror in the car, you will NOT see those bounces. (Because the camera will also bounce with the car simultaneously!!!)

Those seats in super cars are usually less comfortable than those in family cars. So, we should see less bouncy in super cars... However, we actually see super cars are more bouncy... So, that proves that the ride frequencies of those super cars are really high!!!

PS: So, I should see my GSF is even more bouncy as the seats in my GSF are more comfortable... (I suddenly feel that a good comfortable seat in a high ride frequency car is vitally important!!!)
