是這樣的...小弟父母即將赴美坐移民監，怕他們在那太悶，之前有聽人說過SONY的LocationFree可以透過網路傳送台灣的電視節目過去...
想請問一下M01的魔人們是否有過相關的使用經驗以及建議。這產品買了後就能很簡易的在美國收看台灣電視節目嗎? 安裝上會不會很複雜? 還蠻擔心父母過去後有安裝上的問題。除了LocationFree外好像還有一台SlingBox，不知差異在哪? 價位差不多... 麻煩各位大大了~感恩!

至於 SlingBox 效果應該也好不到那裡, 因為 SlingBox 或是 LocationFree 收視品質與上傳速度成正比, 所以 "收視品質真的非常普通或是差來評分" 應該要以網路上傳速度及品質決定.
LocationFree 與 PSP 是絕配, 帶著 PSP 到處看台灣電視節目比打電動更實用

I lived in the US for years and always want to watch TV program in TW.
I am using Slingbox Classic. It works GREAT.
I have the slingbox put in my house in TPE with HINET 8M/1M; and I have put a PC running XP MCE next to my 36 TV with S-video and now, I am watching TW TV program with MCE Remote to change the channel. becuase the upload from TW is 1M, I receive about 799K/Sec which is acceptable quality.
A friend of mine has a Slingbox Tuner in TW with 8M/512 and he is happy with it.
He connect to a 40" Plasma TV.
With Tivo is a good choice because of the time differneces and program.
