這個功能滿實用的,
當 ZP600T 沒有撥放硬碟中的檔案或複製檔案時,
讓硬碟進入休眠狀態,達到省電及延長硬碟壽命.
PS: 1.這是澳洲Astone 提供給 AP360T 使用的,AP360T = ZP600T.
2.要記得 optware 已經預先安裝完成,安裝方法可參考開板大的文章或點上面文章的連結參考內文.
3.我手上目前沒有ZP600T,所以我沒試過是否可行,如果修改失敗的話重新更新韌體就好了.
You will need:
- cron optware package already installed
The process:
1. Telnet into your box.
2. Run the following commands:
#install scsi-idle
ipkg install scsi-idle
#make a log directory
mkdir /opt/var/log/
#make a script directory
mkdir /opt/bin/scripts/
cd /opt/bin/scripts/
#download the script
wget http://astone.googlecode.com/files/JLSD.sh
#edit the script variables
vi /opt/bin/scripts/JLSD.sh
#set the script to be executable
chmod +x /opt/bin/scripts/JLSD.sh
#In order for the script to identify the harddrive you want to go into sleep mode, you need to tell it a root directory that only that disk has on it. For example if your hard-drive has the following directories in it, you could put specialdir=Music as the variable if no other disk had a /Music dir:
#/ebooks
#/Movies
#/Music
#/tv-shows
#save file and exit vi
#setup a cron job to run the script every 30mins

#type the following line into vi when it opens

3. Cold start your device.
