Linn is one of the most highly esteemed brands for audiophiles. It produces all kinds of components, from LP turntable to loud speakers and music CDs, and quality has never been an issue for the company.
However, I would not be optimistic when it comes to value your speaker wire for the following two reasons:
1. It is known that, famously and infamously, LINN components work best when the whole system is composed by pure LINN products. With the exception of LINN LP turntables, which are widely presented in all kinds of system around the world, I have seen a few people using other LINN components mixed with components from other brands. Since speaker cable is not a particular strong part of LINN products, I doubt there will be many LINN users interested in your cable.
2. The age and creditability of the source of the speaker cables will be a big issue.
My advice is that you keep this cables for yourself, it should be able to provide you decent sound quality for your audio system, assuming it have not been oxygenized too seriously.
