1. Worms in Fish http://research.myfwc.com/products/product_info.asp?id=1952
From time to time, anglers will find worms in the fish they are cleaning. Although unsightly, these common marine parasites pose no human health threat because even if they are not all removed when the fish is cleaned or filleted, they will be killed when the fish is cooked or frozen.

7. ANISAKIDS IN MARINE FISH FROM THE COAST OF CHON BURI PROVINCE, THAILAND http://www.tm.mahidol.ac.th/seameo/2006_37_spp3/37sup3_35.pdf Anisakid nematodes or Anisakis spp have been implicated in causing human infections by consumption of raw or undercooked seafood. Humans usually act as accidental hosts, as the ingested anasakid larvae are unable to multiply or develop into adult worms in humans. Infections by third-stage anisakid larvae are known to be a causal agent of the human disease called anisakiasis or anisakiosis (Van Thiel, 1962).
