The term “display resolution” is usually used to mean pixel dimensions, the number of pixels in each dimension (e.g., 1920×1080), which does not tell anything about the resolution of the display on which the image is actually formed: resolution properly refers to the pixel density, the number of pixels per unit distance or area, not total number of pixels. In digital measurement, the display resolution would be given in pixels per inch.
為什麼720p/i, 1080p/i這些新的視訊標準會被稱作High Definition，絕大部份人的人都不了解，不能怪你。
台灣甚至沒辦法給它翻出貼切的中文，被那些電視機業者牽著鼻子走，翻成「高畫質」，挺可悲的，「畫質」和「畫素」根本是兩回事（三、五年前的LCD電視，99%都是「高畫素、爛畫質」）。
反而對岸翻的「高清」，欠雅，但「信、達」是有的。
至於你戒Mac二十年，自認很屌，我剛好相反，三年多前才買了人生第一台Mac，驚覺今是而昨非。
