The new RX 350 and previous model of RX350 are different. Please make sure that you understand other people's statement before complaining.
The guys hasn't mention about wether it's the previous model or current model. Please don't judge other people before you understand the statements.
Lexus is getting some issues on brake system with ABS and TSC not functional well for either RX, and GS models. It happens to several friends of my in LA area too.

If you are interested in X5 or ML, check out in dealers.
From my personal experience, ML is more comfortable than X5. However I prefer X5 than ML because it has more fun when you drive it. ( I am the current owner of X5 and previous owner of ML)
ML is really good for family trip with parents and kids at the same time. X5 is more like a performance car.
Find out yourself if you have a chance to test drive both of them.
