My colleague also said her sister's EX35(310hp) didn't feel faster than her 328(255hp).
Japanese cars are usually are good at higher rpms or horsepower thanks to more refinement. Honda is a very good example. i.e. Japanese cars don't feel very punchy at lower rpm. However, if you FLOOR it, it would become a totally different story!!!
