Beijing 2008 Olympics (canoe/kayak, baseball, athletics)

I spent two weeks in Beijing. From Aug. 10 to Aug. 24. Watched 3 matches. The canoe/kayak slalom in Aug. 12, baseball in Aug. 22 and athletics in Aug. 23. Quite an experience.

I used a 40D+BG-E3N, a 17-40 f4L, a 50 1.8 II, a 18-55 f3.5-5.6 II, and a 70-200 f4L IS. More than happy about my equipments. Easy to use, reliable, fast and superb image quality. Just can't see the reason to upgrade to 5D mk2 when it comes out.

Aug. 12 in Shunyi. Canoe/kayak slalom men's semi-finals and finals.

































Aug. 14. In Wukesong baseball field. Japan vs. Taipei.





Aug. 22. In Wukesong baseball field. Baseball semi-final, Korea vs. Japan.
















































Aug. 23. In the "Bird's nest". Athletics. Including women's high-jump, men's 1500M and 5000M, men's and women's 4x400M. All finals.
