About one month ago I replaced OEM rear shocks with new KYB Excel-G Shocks for my wife's 2010 M35X. (DIY by myself )

New KYB shocks should be 10% more damping force than OEM. Guess what? After one month, I feel those new shocks don't help...

I never travel to Japan. I guess their roads must be very smooth and that's reason why their shock absorbers are so useless...

By the way I also checked M35X and GSF OEM shock absorber price. Guess what? M35X's Tokico shock was 300 USD. GSF's Sach shock was 150 USD.... (I cannot believe it but I check them many times. It is TRUE...)

If you felt nothing and helpless in the begin, it would be a issue.
But you felt it after a month, it's normal, we call it "numbed" in Taiwan.

I replace my M's old tires (5 year old Continental EXTREMECONTACT DWS) with MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S 3.

The whole car feels much better now. (I would say 50% better). Rear shocks seems to OK now but front old shocks are still weak (especially rebound damping). I cannot find KYB shock for front and OEM front shocks are too expensive...

我用MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A / S 3替換了M的舊輪胎(5歲的Continental EXTREMECONTACT DWS)。

整輛車現在感覺好多了。 (我會說好50%)。後部衝擊似乎現在可以正常,但前面的舊衝擊仍然很弱(特別是回彈阻尼)。我找不到前面的KYB震撼和OEM前端震動太貴......
OEM $300 vs KYB $80

But KYB only has front shocks for RWD M35, not AWD M35.

RWD and AWD front shocks are different because AWD has CV joints and driveshafts in the front but rear shocks are the same.
You can try NEW SR series or EXTAGE series for your M35
