現金買iPad 蘋果拒售
舊金山的KGO-TV報了一則新聞：蘋果位於Palo Alto的直營店拒絕一位殘障女士購買iPad。
為何？理由是該女士沒有信用卡，想用現金購買。
根據報導，這位殘障女士Diane Campbell存了好幾個月的錢後，決定購買iPad來上網，她來到蘋果商店，把iPad拿到櫃臺，掏出現金結帳，但店員拒絕賣給她。

雖然政策不會轉彎，但執行技術可以調整，用現金買不行，那麼大一間店一定有人帶信用卡

化無線化邁出一大步，最近ＡＰＰＬＥ更要花一筆大錢進行ｉＴＵＮＥＳ相關雲端應用的計劃，
如果能在此同時，能針對弱勢族群提供專人服務，開發更多相關應用ＡＰＰ，或許可以為蘋果
一向特立獨行的作風，增添更多暖意。

Yes, this incident is true.
However:
1. This article was obviously written by an Apple hater.
2. It's not about her disability, it's about credit card being the only payment option.
3. Regarding 2, there's nothing in the American constitution that says a vendor HAS TO accept cash.
So no fault on Apple's part, but bad publicity anyway. One of those "genius" should have lent her his credit card.

"Your recipient can redeem the iPhone Gift Card on the Apple Online Store and get a fully activated iPhone delivered right to their door. Or they can come into an Apple Retail Store where one of our Specialists will activate their new iPhone, set it up, and provide expert advice."
This has been like this long time ago, since 3G launch if I remember correctly.
