各位是用哪個牌子的NAS當DLNA server ?
播放設備是PC 或PS3 或.... ;
多媒體檔支援度如何?高畫質TS檔 ,RMVB ,AVI+字幕 ,H.264 ,VC1 等特殊檔案可播嗎?
個人用Nas-01g與PS3搭配用(NAS-01G 當DLNA server) ,奇怪的是
我的PS3與PC 上PowerDVD都偵測不到這台NAS-01g (DLNA功能有打開,),
但是改由PC上安裝TVersity當DLNA server ,PS3可以偵測到,且播放檔案!
我的環境如下:
ASUS Wl-500GP 分享器後面有線網路接PC與NAS-01G ,PS3則是以無線方式連線.
NAS-01G韌體版本已是最新版本V3.33(09-14-2007),
PS3韌體版本已是最新版本V2.10
P.S NAS-01G除原始韌體外,還有再有安裝telnetd及將mldonkey升級至2.9.2版.

As I result, I have to mount the Thecus share onto the PC as a shared drive, then use the PC's Nero DLNA software to PS3. My PS3 can now detect all the video files (including mp4) correctly (with english, chinese and japanese filenames) from my pc DLNA and play them nicely on an LCD tv.
BTW, the PS3 is a great media player (I use it more often as a media player than a game machine). I used to have a TVIX box but it had many problems with mix character sets (trad+sim chinese and jap filenames) and sometimes hang on certain jpg files.

我都是遇到一樣的問題。
This is my setup:
NAS-01G as DLNA Server, of course BT Monster la! V.3.3 still running DL at 2.8.2
ZyXEL DMA-1000 as DLNA Client
Asus WL-500G as Router
有個兄弟話爬文，我爬了２個星期！都找不到方案。
So I wrote to ZyXEL, and their Director of Marketing Communications, Mr. Jake Salia, promised me to come up with a solution. That was 22nd Dec.
Today is 20th Jan. There was no answer, not even an email from ZyXEL, the last one he wrote back was about how busy they are with the CES show. But that was early Jan!!
OMG! After reading too much articles, I see a lot of ppl having problems with avi recognition, cross-brand connection : Thecus-ZyXEL-PCI-Synology...... etc.
Is DLNA not mature enough!?
About the SWAP file solution someone came up with, thats not related to DLNA, NAS-01G do need the SWAP file like every other Linux Server to run as Memory like Windows too. But I do have the SWAP on too! But the DMA-1000 can see the NAS-01G, just can't access it.
Such a headache!!!!
Please can anyone help, if not, can we group together to find a solution albeit asking from support from PCI Japan, PCI Hong Kong, and ZyXEL? The response from ZyXEL is just not acceptable, so I am going to start warning people against their products, how can there be no support?!? They can't even confirm which product their DMA-1000 can run with.

原因:用SMB/CIFS 把 N2100 的分享目錄直接 mount 起來，RMVB 也可以播放，反應速度夠快，現在內建硬碟改成120GB，有一些檔案可以暫存在Xbox 中
Kodak EasyShare 有內建 Wifi ，可以直接播放 N2100 裏的照片、AVI及MP3，只有８吋的LCD稍為有點小，遙控器太小(名片型的）現在就放在書架上，想看照片的時候就讓他從頭來輪播一次。
Buffal LinkTheater 遙控器很讚，反應比 Xbox 慢，可解的檔案比較少，所以現在放在臥室，偶然拿來看一下網路上抓的舊的MTV檔案。
現在各種壓縮格式一大堆，不是每種格式 Server 都認得，也不是每種格式 Player 都認得，而且流行的格式一直有在換，就靠廠商的韌體升級了。
