Another idiot who doesn't know the ROM / RAM difference.
Has it ever occurred to your genius that 4.2 might use just enough more RAM than 4.1 to leave too little free RAM for user apps? On a stock ROM, even 20mb less free RAM is a lot. If it's a RAM problem, a bigmem kernel might solve the issue.
