It appears that the Android 2.2 [Froyo] update — which has already been deployed to several Android-powered smartphones — brings more than great useful features. The update apparently installs a nasty little bug that affects the Gmail application on the Nexus One, HTC EVO 4G, HTC Desire, HTC Droid Incredible, and Motorola Droid 2.
