Many of them got frustrated in the beginning because of the learn curve and a totally different user experience. X1 does have it's own problem (easy to crack or scratch) but it's still one of the best WM phone (looks/speed/stability/feature) at the moment (Only if TP2 or Samsung i8000 supports AT&T 3G then I will consider to switch). And you will found many experienced WM users are very happy X1 in XDA.
X1是我印象中感覺不滿意人數最多的一款SE手機 (包括這裡跟XDA論壇)
WM is a very powerful platform but require a bit of technical knowledge in order to get the most out of it.

If you're so happy with your powerful WM, then I feel we each have our rights to disagree with your assessment and tell people about it, the same way I found your choice of apps for your cooked ROMS useless for my personal application, compared to several other cooked ROMs. Yes we are thankful, but that doesn't mean we all have to swallow it whole and have to have a use for it.
So yes, WM is powerful, but that does not mean we can not be frustrated by the learning curve, because the learning curve of a closed OS, the iphone OS, Android or whatever, is clearly different from that of WM, and some of us do find WM to be the most difficult of all. That in itself should not be the reason for you to keep coming back, and hammering every frustrated response with your standard response.
Not to mention there are many other, vastly cheaper ways to have WM, if you're only after the positive features that the WM system has to offer. 800*480 can also be had for cheaper than the X1. hardware keyboard can be had for less. And let's not go into hardware video accleration because the X1 stumbles very badly without it, it's not accelration, it's almost a necessary enabler. Nothing you want really requires the X1 to fulfill.

You have your right to express your negative feeling about X1 (or WM) so do I have my own to express my positive one (and I did express the short coming like crack problem w/ X1). I never intended to hammer anybody's response but it seems you are hammering mine.
I agreed WM (and X1) may not live up to everyone's hope (especially to first time WM user) but my feeling about X1 is one of it's own still hold true (at least to myself) based on my experience from Dopod 818 -> Eten M600 -> O2 Atom -> Asus P525 -> HTC Tytn II -> X1. With X1 features (256mb ram + acceptable CPU (I argreed Xscale is much better) + WVGA + 3.5mm audio jack), ONLY HTC HD is the real competitor in WM camp by the time it released (and I would goes for HD too if it support AT&T's 3G band).
Speaking about hardware acceleration, it sure does have hardware acceleration but it's depend on what software you use on it. Multiple 3D games and application (Xtrakt and iGo8) runs smoothly on X1 using OpenGL. Video playback is acceptable with Windows Media or HTC's player.
