Did u try Activesync 3.5 or 3.7 for 728 ?
As there is some bugs for v 3.1 ( correct me should I was wrong ), and in the case of SIII, upgrade from v.3.5 to 3.7 , new appointments in SIII couldn't be append to the NB or Desktop.
Didn't catch Tango this afternoon, supposed he would pass the CD-ROM to me next afternoon. I would like to try it myself.. better u got the ans ans ? Thanks

Basically,
My 72x & 3970 connectted to my notebook by using ActiveSync 3.5 Tranditional Chinese version. 728 bundled CD.. I didn't use it. You can use 3.5, I can sure it is working fine.
