for heavy GPS users, I will suggest them to get car GPS no matter what phone they have. Cellphone GPS is just not as safe to use comparing to car GPS device. Safety always comes first.
If the poster don't use GPS that often, then phone GPS may be fine.
By the way, suggesting and pushing are very different.
