SIGMARION AND PPC 03 BUG
Your Sigmarion is also affected by the PPC 2003 (based on Ce.net) bug !!!
"The Pocket PC 2003 OS appears to have a bug that can slow down the performance of a Pocket PC device, and can potentially cause ActiveSync delays. It has been identified that after every soft-reset of your device, a few extra "Notification Events" are added to the Notification Event Database on your system (This database holds system notifications such as alarms, timed events, etc.). After several soft-resets, a device can have several hundreds of extra notification events that can reduce the performance of a device."
Scarybear Software has released 2 freeware utilities to correct this problem on PPC 2003 devices:
-the first one allows you to check duplicate entries in your databases and to manually remove them ( this utility works very good on the Sigmarion , specially if you have installed DIC's dlls)
-the second one silently removes duplicate entries automatically if you place it in the "autostart" folder ( second japanese subfolder inside Windows on the Sigmarion): this Scarybear utility doesn't work "out of the box" on the Sigmarion , because it looks for specific PPC 2003 entries.In this package, you will find the modified version I made, using some hex-editing. I know I should have asked the original developper for this mods, but I am a bit lazy, and I am sure he won't mind... Thanks Scarybear for your nice apps !

"Pocket PC 2003 OS出現了臭蟲，會使Pocket PC設備的效能下降，並且可能會致使ActiveSync的延遲。已經確認的是，在每次設備軟重置(Soft-Reset)之後，有一些多餘的「通知性事件」會被新增到系統的Notification Event Database(通知性事件資料庫)中(本資料庫中所存的是警鈴、定時事件之類的通知事項)。在經過多次的軟重置之後，設備上就會有數百個多餘的、會降低設備效能的通知性事件。
Scarybear Software 公司已經公布兩個免費的工具程式，以矯正此一PPC 2003上的問題：
--第一個工具程式可讓你檢查資料庫中重複的資料項，並以手動方式刪除之(此工具程式在Sigmarion上運作良好，特別是如果你已經安裝了DIC的DLL)
--第二個工具程式，如果你將之置於"啟動(autostart)"資料夾中(Sigmarion 的Windows資料夾中，第二個日文子資料夾)，則是可以在無聲無息中，自動除去重複的資料項：此一Scarybear工具程式在Sigmarion 上，並無法以「out of the box」方式執行，因為它會去搜尋PPC 2003專屬的資料項。在此一程式包中，你可以看到經過我以十六進位碼編輯的修改版本。我知道在進行此項修改前，應先向原發展者詢問，但是因為有有點懶，而我也確信他不會在意的.....謝謝Scarybear，提供這麼棒的應用軟體！
