[Pix & News] Lotus Exige GT3

This is going to be most powerful and sharpest-handling version of Lotus Exige.

According to Lotus:
"Power is provided by the same charge-cooled supercharged engine that the GT3 race car employs, producing 271 hp — got for a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a zero to 100 mph time of 9.8 seconds. Maximum speed is 160 mph.

A sports-type clutch plate and heavy duty clutch cover transfer the engine power and torque to the lightweight aluminium C64 six-speed gearbox. GT3 derived one-piece front clamshell and wide track rear clamshell with full length roof design taken from the Cup Exige 255. A large rear wing provides added downforce."

Personally, I think this is the best looking Elise/Exige. I've always thought Elise/Exige looked a little weird, but now this GT3 really sits above my aesthetic standard. The car doesnt look that skinny on the sides anymore. Also, the rear spoiler looks a lot better than a normal Exige. The spoiler on the normal Exige just looks disgusting and it just doesnt flow with the lines of the car at all. I would give up any car with a price sticker less than US$100K for this little lap time record breaker.
