Oh my poor children. Listen....if you want it unlocked, this is how you do it. Step by step.
1. Call the INTERNATIONAL TOLL FREE NUMBER The keyword there is INTERNATIONAL. If you call the regular Cingular number you will have a better shot at shouting out the request from your bathroom window. Directory Assistance has the number.
2. When you get them on the phone you tell them.."Hi there. I have a Cingular Treo 680 and I am going overseas in the morning and will be using the international SIM cards there and you have already assisted me with the unlock code and procedures for my wife's phone, I just need you to do that again for my phone this time. Last time you sent me an email with the code and the instructions in about 10 minutes after I hung up.
3. You will almost guaranteed get what you are looking for. HAVE YOUR IMEI number ready to read off when you call. Remember, do NOT call the local 866 CINGULAR "shit" number. Call the INTERNATIONAL Cingular Call Center.
