I read the URL you gave in your post. I think you said it on point "so while the number is inaccurate and meaningless, I have no factual basis on which to confirm or deny it." Sometimes, I think some people in the society place too much emphasis on IQ. IQ test, if administered correctly and the examinee did not prepare for it, could be accurate up to a certain point. Very high scores could be unreliable or accurate.
I wish you the best of luck. Taiwan really needs some guidance to guide the ship in dangerous water. You might need to make adjustment based on the resources available. Some of Taiwan's young people are not really competitive on the international stage. What's worse, they don't seem to care or want to learn and improve. Some of them think they know it all, when in reality they don't.

IQ高只是讓你在學邏輯，數學等知識，學識較快，他們可能也有好的記憶力，幫助他們學習。 中學就有同學有IQ170。 大學時，小時候IQ 150的同學有不少。 跟這些同學在一起的好處是教授可以教得快，教的深，我們還可以彼此學習，挑戰不知道答案的問題。 但是我覺得IQ只是一部分，跟人相處和一些其他技能也是很重要。

聽到最近去台灣出差或是工作的親友說台灣的年輕人(教改後)，實在是滿擔心的，競爭力有些問題，最糟的是還在怪來怪去，覺得自己很厲害，都是別人的錯。
