：Kuminga joining Wolves

Free agent wing Jonathan Kuminga agreed to a two-year, $12.4 million deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves, which includes a player option on the second season, his agent Aaron Turner told ESPN's Shams Charania on Wednesday.

Part of Minnesota's pitch is that Kuminga will fill the vacant starting power forward slot alongside Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert on an established Western Conference contender.

This concludes a second consecutive drawn-out free agency process for Kuminga after lengthy negotiations with the Golden State Warriors in restricted free agency last summer dragged into October training camp. The Warriors ultimately re-signed Kuminga on a two-year, $46.8 million contract, insisting on a team option in the second season.

Kuminga

內幕：Jonathan Kuminga's agent Aaron Turner: Anthony Edwards, Chris Finch, owner were all in complete alignment on wanting Kuminga。

Run It Back: Jonathan Kuminga's agent, Aaron Turner, reveals why he signed with the Timberwolves over the Lakers and a more lucrative offer from the Trail Blazers "The conversations with Ant and Chris Finch... owner, GM, head coach, star player all in complete alignment that this is the guy that they want." @ChandlerParsons | @arockturner20 (x.com)

Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar

Sources: Wolves deal 3-and-D wing Green to Jazz

The Minnesota Timberwolves are trading Josh Green and cash to the Utah Jazz for Cody Williams and John Konchar, sources told ESPN on Friday night.

The Timberwolves are expected to keep Williams, the No. 10 pick in 2024, and waive-and-stretch Konchar, sources said. Saturday is the final day to waive a player and stretch out his guaranteed salary over multiple seasons.

Shams Charania: The Timberwolves are expected to keep Cody Williams, the No. 10 pick in 2024, and waive-and-stretch John Konchar, sources said. They found a home for Josh Green on a Jazz team that wanted an additional 3-and-D wing; moving his $14.7 million deal gives Minnesota the salary space to sign Jonathan Kuminga using the taxpayer midlevel exception.

)：Timberwolves agree to 1-year, $40M extension with McDaniels

Minnesota Timberwolves All-Defensive forward Jaden McDaniels has agreed to a one-year, $40 million extension that will keep him under contract through the 2029-30 season, agents Nima Namakian of Innovate Sports and Bill Duffy of WME Basketball told ESPN's Shams Charania on Monday.

The deal will allow McDaniels to negotiate another extension as early as 2028, starting at a salary of up to 140% of his $40 million salary. He could also choose to enter free agency in the summer of 2030 as a 10-year veteran.

(1) Anthony Edwards ( 4890
(2) LaMelo Ball ( 4077
(3) Rudy Gobert ( 3650
(4) Jaden McDaniels ( 2575

(5) Ayo Dosunmu (1931
