The Philadelphia 76ers intend to sign forward Jabari Walker to a new two-year contract and veteran guard Cam Payne for the rest of the season, sources tell ESPN. 76ers and Klutch Sports' Rich Paul and Anthony Fields negotiated the new deal for Walker, who earned a rotation role after maxing out the games allowed on his two-way deal.

Daryl Morey 莫明其妙的送走年輕小將 Jared McCain 後，近日七六人簽下 Cam Payne 來填補板凳深度。同時，跟雙向合約的 23 歲前鋒 Jabari Walker 也簽訂了兩年合約。

Jabari Walker 這位球二代，有一個老爸 Samaki Walker （Walker's father, Samaki, played in the NBA for 10 years.）。Samaki Walker (6-9) 當年是首輪新秀（1996: 1st round, 9th overall pick）曾在OK 連線的湖人隊時期，拿到了一座冠軍。 NBA champion（2002）。

Jabari Walker 沒有老爸的身材，只有 6-7，2022: Rd 2, Pk 57 (POR)，本季只有場均 3.6 分，但出賽已高達 45 場，其中還有 6 場先發。由 Jabari Walker 和 Andre Drummond 與 Adem Bona 所組成的肌肉棒子組合，是七六人隊重要的第二陣容深度。

簽下的 31 歲資深控衛 Cam Payne ( 2015: Rd 1, Pk 14 ) 則是能跟上述的第二陣容搭配上，不過，Payne 更重要的是跟對上第六人 Quentin Grimes 能處得來。上一季 Cam Payne 原本還在尼克隊，在去年的自由市場乏人問津後，跑到塞爾維亞 ( KK Partizan ) 掏金，現在又被 Daryl Morey 找來補強七六人隊的深度。Payne 生涯有 0.368 的三分球命中率，缺點就是有時會失控亂出手，但是，若手風順的話，對球隊是一大幫助。

七六人隊的先發很固定了，就看 Joel Embiid 有休或沒休的差別而已。

在公牛養成的 Dalen Terry ( 2022: 1st round, 18th overall pick ) ，本季在被交易至鵜鶘後，被鵜鶘釋出，七六人隊便用雙向合約搶下這位搖擺人，目前已出賽 1 場。而就在剛剛 Tyrese Martin: Set to sign two-way deal with 76ers，在籃網隊被釋出後，七六人隊又用雙向合約搶下這位搖擺人 Tyrese Martin ( 2022: 2nd round, 51st overall pick )。也就是說，七六人隊也在小前鋒的深度上做補強，彌補 Paul George 被禁賽的戰力缺口。

有趣的是這 2022 年選秀，七六人也撈太多人了，都是別隊養成的失敗品

Nick Nurse 的一大挑戰，就是人員調度。為了不讓 VJ Edgecombe 的成長停滯，七六人管理層最好的決定，就是讓他去擔任第六人。

看看馬刺隊怎麼使用 Dylan Harper ？不正是因為有 De'Aaron Fox 與 Stephon Castle ，因此，才讓 Dylan Harper 擔任第六人。如今，Jaylen Brown 來到，他能跟 Tyrese Maxey 組成後場先發。

原本，我一點也不覺得需要這改變，也是因為 LeBron James 也加盟。七六人需要的，是另一個活動力強的禁區球員來輔佐 Joel Embiid，避免有過多的犯規，目前的陣容來看，Dominick Barlow 是最適合的人選。Barlow 上季出賽 71 場，就有全隊第 3 多的先發場次。先發陣容上，已經有 4 個得分機器了，沒必要浪費 VJ Edgecombe。

當然，七六人也可以是五大球星全壓在先發，這也符合眾人的預期，卻可能出現一個被消磨的未來之星。

一但擔任第六人，Nick Nurse 就能給 VJ Edgecombe 支援 Maxey 與 Brown 的開火權，是一種延續，而不是定點投籃機。況且，七六人的新菜鳥 Labaron Philon Jr. 未成氣候，有經驗的 Anfernee Simons 也是初來乍到，一切都是讓 VJ Edgecombe 來帶第二陣容是最適切的，最懂掌控節奏。

搭配 Edgecombe 的組合，除了 Anfernee Simons，前鋒也有新成員 Dean Wade，這兩名的功能非常的明顯，也都是外圍的砍將。Embiid 下場後，禁區可交給 Adem Bona，他也是可以期待的防守型長人。

82 場球賽，是漫長的 6 個月，從11 月走到 4 月，Joel Embiid 與 LeBron James 能出賽 60 場就可以偷笑，Nick Nurse 一定要全盤考量，切勿把五名大將操過頭。

後記：Keith Smith: The Philadelphia 76ers have been looking for a trade for Johni Broome. If they can’t find one, the team may waive and stretch Broome’s salary. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope wont clear waivers until tomorrow. The Sixers have time to work out the move to clear room to sign KCP.

不只 Dalen Terry，Johni Broome 被裁掉的機率也很高，七六人隊開始養老將，捨棄培養新人。
