輸球是「養份」，沒有這次，不太可能會有挑戰總冠軍的時候。
Jaden McDaniels，2020: 1st round, 28th overall pick，能撿到了，就該偷笑了。
Naz Reid，2019: undrafted，能用 1300 萬續簽 ，更是偷很大。
僅管是鎩羽而歸，灰狼仍是本季的大贏家！

在去年季後賽被獨行俠淘汰的那場比賽，Naz Reid 的表現明顯優於 Karl-Anthony Towns，甚至，在讀秒階段的時候，Towns 被教練 Chris Finch 放置於板凳上。
難道 Chris Finch 的調度，早早就預言了今天的結果，Towns 早就不屬於灰狼隊的計畫。
在 Rudy Gobert 的使用上，其實也不如 Naz Reid。但 Gobert 被保留了，我覺得是因為 Gobert 的存在，對於保護 Anthony Edwards 的隊形，仍大有幫助，而 Towns 的作用，已有 Reid 可取代。
而如今，投籃很吃手感的 Randle 來到灰狼，他得面對著 A.D、Kevin Durant、Aaron Gordon、Zion Williamson、Jaren Jackson Jr 等西區對手，挑戰也是不小。好在，灰狼還有 Naz Reid，Reid 簡直是微波爐。
新一季 Randle 很可能會退居第 3、4 進攻選擇，除非 Chris Finch 能給他在尼克隊時的球權。
就在剛才，Keita Bates-Diop will be included in the trade。Keita Bates-Diop 也回歸灰狼。
另一個幫手是 Donte DiVincenzo，他會是意外的後場大鎖，剛好彌補了 Mike Conley 年紀老化的問題。每當 Conley 下場休息，灰狼仍保有一個穩定了出手點，可以幫助 Edwards 拉開防守者的距離，否則會被 DiVincenzo 的長射懲罰。
我覺得灰狼放棄得太早，Towns 還是很有威協性的角色，沒能陪灰狼走，真是可惜。
當初，Andrew Wiggins 、Zach LaVine 和 Towns 合力撐起的狼隊，如今全拆光了。
Anthony Edwards 完完全全的一手掌握了！

If they were going to relent to New York’s wishes by finally giving them Towns, DiVincenzo had to be part of the package, team sources said. They see him fitting in right alongside Edwards in the backcourt and his 3-point shooting will be crucial for a team that just gave up its best outside shooter. DiVincenzo can play point guard when Mike Conley needs a breather and can come off the bench to provide firepower and rugged defense as well. – via New York Times

在西區決賽失利的灰狼，在熱身賽前，突然的交易掉效力多年的狼王 Karl-Anthony Towns。
此舉，原本是大忌，但也更顯得出將以為 Anthony Edwards 為完全核心的打法。
首場熱身賽，Julius Randle 和 Edwards 都沒登場，讓去年的最佳第六人 Naz Reid 頂替 Randle，也讓新成員 Donte DiVincenzo 頂替 Edwards。嗯，這組陣容竟無違合感，DiVincenzo 與 Reid 的手感都超級好，這代表的是，新賽季的灰狼板凳是火力猛爆的！
第二梯隊確定了，換第三梯隊來測試，不試則已，這一試，就把湖人的第二梯隊打趴了。
Josh Minott、Leonard Miller、Shannon Jr. 和 Rob Dillingham 這批大部份也在夏季聯賽就一起成軍的成員，搭上 Luka Garza，意外的合拍。尤其是小前鋒 Minott 的表現，讓我覺得老伯伯 Joe Ingles 要認真的打，要不然，替補的位置就要被取代。
而 Dillingham 與 Shannon Jr. 的表現也是毫不畏懼，尤其，Shannon Jr. 的爆炸性表現讓我覺得去年湖人錯過了 Cameron Whitmore，今年的選秀又錯過了 Shannon Jr.，真的是虧大了！
