Starbucks use blendtec to make their ice-blending drink.
i have a Vitamax, there are 2 things i don't like. 1. plastic jar 2. the jar will leak and rust. If i am buying again, i will not buy neither one. 3 things i will be looking for. 1. glass jar, 2. dishwasher safe, 3. quiet
maybe you can try put lots water in the jar and let it spin at full speed for 5 minutes. i am fairly confident u will see some water leaking from the bottom of the jar. besides, u can try put it into dishwasher and see what happens.
no, 5 minutes won't heat up cold water into boiling water. One of the recipe to make soy milk is to put cooked soy bean and top up with hot water (97C), spin for 4 minutes to make soy milk.
so, no, spinning for 5 minutes is not considered abusing the machine.
as i said above, the jar is NOT dishwasher safe, i found it inconvenient sometimes. As a result, i said above, IF i am buying again, i will buy 1. Glass jar, 2. Dish washer safe.
yes it has 5 year warranty. all 3 of our machine had the same problem (leaking after spin for more than 2-3 minutes) and we got all jars replaced under warranty. I think it's the design of the blade base that cause the problem rather than product defect.
It is great machine. we bought 3. However, it's not perfect machine by any means. My point was to tell people my experience with the machine and people can make better decision based on their needs. To be honest, not everyone need a 3 House Power blender. If someone want to use dishwasher to clean their jar, or use it for hot beverages, Vitamax are not the best choice.
I am so sorry but we have been informed we can not ship to Taiwan. We did everything we could to make this work for the customers overseas but we have been told we are not allowed. Your card has not been charged and we are sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry we cant help further.
