The largest two-wheeler manufacturer in Taiwan,
KYMCO, has announced two electric
scooters with swappable batteries.
The company's first foray into electric scooters(眼睛業障重
include the Nice 110 EV and the New Many 110 EV.
Made for urban driving, the Nice is the cheaper one,
and has a range of 37 miles and a top speed of 28 miles per hour,
while the New Many, costs are just a little bit more,
and it gets a higher top speed of 37 miles per hour.
The significant difference with the KYMCO scooters
is that they are building a network
of battery charging stations
where you can drop off the battery,
run around for an hour on an internal battery,
then pick up your battery fully charged.
The scooters are built with enough storage
to carry three extra batteries,
giving you the possibility of getting
a maximum range of around 120 miles on a single trip.
