GIRLS' GENERATION'S "RUN DEVIL RUN" ZOOMS TO #1 !
Two of the country's biggest record retail chains - Astroplus/Astrovision and Music One released their album charts two days ago and Girls' Generation's "Run Devil Run" album crushed its competitors and shot straight to the NUMBER ONE spot after two days of release in the market! The album charts were based from the tabulation of album sales from May 17 to 23, 2010.
That's not the best part. Three other Girls' Generation's albums also "INVADED" the two record retail chains' album charts. Here's a summary :

"Run Devil Run" is Girls' Generation's THIRD album to reach the NUMBER ONE position. "Oh!" went NUMBER ONE in March 2010 while "Genie" was NUMBER ONE in October 2009! Two of their music videos "Oh!" and "Run Devil Run" also charted NUMBER ONE on MYX Countdowns. Girls' Generation is the ONLY K-Pop Girl Group to have THREE NUMBER ONE ALBUMS in the Philippines!

With the hype of the 2010 World Cup building up with various cheer events and songs released by Korean celebrities, clothing brand SPAO also released new photos for the World Cup season.
And in the new photos revealed, the So Nyeo Shi Dae members are featured in red and white fashion code posing as cheerleaders cheering the South Korea team on for the World Cup.

Romance between SNSD member Yuri and Kim Taewoo has been opposed by her mom.
On the episode of Invincible Youth, which will be aired on the 28th on KBS2 TV, the romantic relationship between Yuri and Kim Taewoo has become even more intense. However her mom does not approve of it.
This day, everyone was paired up with one other person and had to gather up some vegetables that are grown in the mountains. Kim Taewoo and Yuri volunteered to be a pair and acted like the program's official couple.
Kim Taewoo, who was excited to be on an outing with just the two of them, joked, "You trust oppa, right?" Yuri responded by saying, "My mom told me not to trust you, oppa" and aroused much laughter.
Yuri further stated that her mom said, "Taewoo is really not for you" and made everyone on set laugh by hinting at her mom's strong opposition.
Still, regardless of her mom's opposition, Kim Taewoo said, "I'm going on a walk with Yuri" and sent a video message to her mom, showing a rather warm-hearted side of him.

SNSD's Taeyeon expressed her nervousness in regards to recent Wonder Girls comeback.
In the airing of KBS 2TV 『Win Win』 on May 25th, Taeyeon jokingly expressed her discontentment as Wonder Girls (Sunye, Sohee, Hyelim, Yoobin and Yeeun) made an appearance: 「I didn't see any of these flowers when SNSD members made an appearance on this show!」
Kim Seungwoo replied, 「But Taeyeon–you're a flower!」 in which Taeyeon responded with a laughter. Moreover, Taeyeon greeted Wonder Girls with a warm welcome: 「We're not rivalries at all, Sunye and I graduated from the same high school. Congratulations on the comeback.」
Meanwhile, when Kim Seungwoo was asked to choose between SNSD and Wonder Girls, he responded, 「I choose Wonder Generation.」 2PM's Wooyoung also responded, 「I choose So Nyuh Girls」 which caused everyone to burst into laughter.
