劇情不需要多說，諾蘭成功地將原本被視為超級英雄片的蝙蝠俠提昇到了史詩災難鉅片的複雜層級，風格也維持與”黑暗騎士”相同，是屬於較為沉重的故事，個人覺得全劇最讓人動容之處，莫過於當蝙蝠俠帶著核彈離開前，主動對高登局長透露了他的真實身份，他告訴高登，人人都可以是英雄，就像多年前的一個夜晚，有位警察為雙親遇害的無助孤兒披上了溫暖大衣，並且安慰他說 “It’s okay, it’s okay…”
雖然以IMAX拍攝，但或許導演為了凸顯真實感，刻意使用許多粒狀效果，讓畫面精緻度不若諾蘭得意作品”全面啟動”那般漂亮鮮明，因此在視覺滿足感方面，稍稍打了點吹毛求疵的折扣…
