APPLE iTUNE/HiFi project with wireless control

雖然站上已有同好發表 APPLE Airpot Express Base Station 使用心得以及硬體介紹. 所以這篇文章以音響的愛好者為出發點,提供大家一個idea 以純WiFi的環境用已投資不菲的音響來臨聽Apple iTune Music.
Project 需求:
1. 電腦中所儲純的 iTune musice 想利用客廳的 HiFi 臨聽.
2. 想要純 wireless 環境 (no cable connect from PC to receiver).
3. 想要純 wireless 控制音樂撥放

Project materials:
為滿足需求1, 2, 我趁著感恩節Apple的discount price買了Apple Airport Express Base Sation ($98) and Airport Express Stereo Connection Kit (with Monster Cable) ($39)

至此這個project 應算完成,但還記得 Project 需求 3. 想要純 wireless 控制音樂撥放.
筆著知道自己實在太picky了, 但是想想每次切換音樂都還要跑回書房的desktop選擇音樂很不方便, 所以在做了些功課後有了以下的解決方法:
1. 首先要有一台WiFi enabled Pocket PC, 筆者的是Dell Axim X30 H
2. RemoteAmp 2.0 for PPC
RemoteAmp 2.0 install 後你便能由你的Pocket PC remote control iTune, Winamp in your deaktop.

所以現在筆者終於可以舒舒服服坐在客廳的沙發上以ppc遙控我的iTune聽音樂了
