I personnally prefer Agenda Fusion, the icons may be stored in the SD card. 
BTW, v5.1 has been released. Believe me, No more lag!

Someone (if not many) raised questons about these 2 programmes before, and I certainly would like to share my thoughts after using both programmes EVERYDAY.
Agenda Fusion is much more native to the pocket outlook.
If you don't believe me, install the 2 programms and try it yourself! Try the contacts part, you will notice the big difference in the the speed. Pocket Informant is UNACCEPATBLE in speed if you have a large contacts database.
Well, I guess, if you have only hundreds of contacts, that you wouldnt notice much difference. But I have a contact database of 2,500 and I just have to throw Pocket Informant away.
When I first switch to Agenda Fusion, I feel losing much over the pretty Pocket Informant I used before, but now , I feel I'm getting much more, since it's what Pocket Outlook is supposed to be in the frist place.
The latest version of Agenda Fusion is 5.1 is due out on Aug 25, 2003.
CONCLUSION:
If you want pretty interface and not have large database: Pocket INformant is fine.
If you want practicality, speed and nature to Pocket Outlook, definitely AGENDA FUSION forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
